Georgia 501st Garrison
The Georgia 501st Garrison and their wonderful volunteers will be patrolling the aisles to “move along” the con crowds. Characters in costume could include galactic troopers, Mandalorians, drones and more. It’s a great opportunity for you to see movie quality costumes and have your photo taken!
Cosplay Contest
You can’t have a comic con without the cosplay, so be sure and dust off your favorite superhero costume, anime or geek wear and be prepared to strut your stuff! Cosplay competition sign up for kid division and adult will be done at door. Top three in both categories will win trophy and bragging rights for life. See rules and regulation page for details.
We are gearing up for the big cosplay costume contest held at the con on Halloween night with a mini cosplay costume contest as part of the activities in the Jasper Downtown Live on Main Street, June 14th. Look for our booth and have your photo taken with a special backdrop by professional photographer Sherri Wellham. Contest starts at 6 p.m. and runs till 8 p.m. We will announce winner the next day on our website and facebook. Winner will get star treatment at our con with their very own vendor booth with loads of 4×6 color prints of them in their costume to autograph and sell. It’s a great way to get into the con spirit while we wait for the days! Be sure and put your best look together and join in on the fun!
Out Of This World Vehicle/Droid Show
Comic Cons aren’t always just about comics, cosplay and all the great stuff that we nerds can’t live without… sometimes… there are cars! If you have a great movie, cartoon or sci-fi themed car or droid, now is your chance to show the world… and maybe win some cash! Check back often as details develop.
