Carolyn Cook - Border Breakers

Lynn is a Canadian freelance illustrator, graphic designer, social media manager, communications specialist, and environmental educator. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science earned in 2020, and is an advocate for environmental education, sustainability, and conservation. She is passionate about travel, animals, fantasy world building, and - more recently - indie game development.

Courtney Remillard - Border Breakers

Courtney bio - An award-winning writer, Courtney is best identified by her hat and a love for dragons (the local game shop has dubbed her “The Dragon Lady”). She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in 2016 and has pursued art and comics as a hobby business alongside her partner since then. While she may be known for her one hat, Courtney wears many. Her other passions lie in writing, animation, and gaming, and she streams gaming on Twitch.

Brothers with a new self-published comic book series from Jasper, GA. will discuss the mindset behind Arcanus Umbra, a dark crime drama with supernatural mystery under the surface. How and why they wrote and illustrated this new series.

Darin M. Bush

Darin M. Bush, sometimes known as The Professor, is an educator, communicator, and award-winning science-fiction & fantasy short-story author. His fiction was published in Creative Loafing & Gemini magazines, as well as several anthologies including “Southern Fried Cthulhu” and “Dragon Tales”. He is the founder of Tables of Content, a virtual convention on YouTube. He moderates panels and conducts interviews at DragonCon. He is or was a programming director / contributor for AnachroCon, ATL Comic Con, CONpossible, the Georgia Indie Book Faire, Multiverse, WhoLanta, et al. He lives close to Atlanta, GA, with his wife, an infamous dragon, and two yappy dogs.
